The Brentwood Administration’s 2025 Budget continues to fix the foundations to deliver change by investing in people’s wellbeing and developing our town, while ensuring the taxes of working people are used responsibly.
Brentwood Labour have:
- Supported the most vulnerable in our communities.
- Made key steps towards our net zero target.
- Planned for the future of our town’s infrastructure.
- Worked closely with charities and other groups in the area.
- Protected access to public spaces and social housing.
Why this Budget is important
This Budget sets out how the Brentwood Administration will approach the economy over the next year. Brentwood Labour entered the Administration in May 2023 and found huge amounts of mismanagement in the town’s finances. The Brentwood Conservatives just made it up as they went along and had no plan for the future. This is why we are still fixing the foundations of our town instead of simply papering over the cracks more.
